I have always been fascinated by chainmaille jewelry.
It just seems so, well, cool!
For some reason, I never tried to make any chain mail pieces, but now I now longer have an excuse.
I worked with my friend and fellow jewelry maker, Carol Lepage, to create a series of videos where Carol shows you the basics of how to make chain mail jewelry.
I am very excited about these videos because Carol is a great teacher, and I’m glad to bring a different style of jewelry making to Jewelry Making Professor.
At this point, the videos are only available to our members but I am planning to put together a free version of the course shortly.

I have worked with a kit and book on making chainmaille, but after watching the videos, I can see areas where I can improve my technique! I am anxious to go try the earrings. Thank you very much for adding a different style of jewelry making to your site.
I have always wanted to try working with chainmaille but didn’t really understand their patterns of numbers. After watching these videos I understand now and enjoyed watching them.
