I just saw a report that a group of teenage children in England broke the world record for bead stringing by stringing over 20,000 beads in under 14 hours.
Check it out here: Bead Stringing World Record
Is that a lot of beads or what??
I guess you can’t call it a necklace, but the length of the final result was over 108 meters long!
It’s nice to see a teacher find a creative way to get teens interested in beads.
I know if I turned my kids loose on stringing together my bead stash they would have the thing running out the door and down the street in no time.
If breaking bead stringing world records is not your first priority, but you are interested in learning more about bead stringing, I have a free bead stringing video guide to help you get started.
